Fresh, not stale
We catch businesses in the new-account window, the week they show up in public records, not a recycled list everyone already called.
Scored and explained
Every lead has a score band and a plain-English why-now, so you work the best ones first.
Built for processors
Filtered to the verticals you sell, with the contact info to make the call. You close, we point you at who is ready.
How it works
We pull new business activity from public records across your coverage area.
We score each business by how new it is, its industry fit, and whether it already takes cards.
You get a weekly list, sorted best-first, with the phone number to call.
Where the data comes from
Every lead is built from public records, plus a free check of whether a business already accepts cards. No credit-bureau data, ever.
New business licenses
Freshly filed licenses signal a business that needs a payment account now.
Commercial build-out permits
Kitchen and tenant-improvement permits flag merchants weeks before they open.
Processor-switch signals
A free technographic check shows who already takes cards and who is wide open.
You own your outreach. Merchant Signal points you at who is ready; you are responsible for following TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and do-not-call rules on your calls and messages.
Questions, answered
Where does the data come from?+
Public records — new business license filings and commercial build-out permits — plus a free technographic check of whether a business already accepts cards. National coverage at launch is powered by a licensed new-business feed. No credit-bureau data, ever.
How fresh are the leads?+
Every lead is either about to open or opened within the last few months — the new-account window. We pull weekly and drop anything that ages out, so you never work a stale list.
How many leads do I get?+
Each plan includes a monthly volume of fresh, scored leads across your covered area: 500 on Nationwide (public records, you add contact), 50 on Starter, 150 on Pro, and 200 on Agency. Need more in a given month? Additional leads are available as overage so you only pay for what you use.
What if a metro has no phone numbers — can I still use it?+
Yes. Verified metros (Seattle, Phoenix, New Orleans, Fort Lauderdale) ship with a callable phone on every lead. Other markets — including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and Scottsdale — are 'enrich-yourself': we surface the fresh, scored new-business records from public filings (business name, address, vertical, why-now), and you append phone and email with your own Apollo, Clay, or Hunter account. That gives you nationwide reach without paying us for contact data you can source on your own credits.
What does the free account include?+
A free account unlocks one full ZIP with everything a paid plan shows — business names, scores, why-now, and real phone numbers — no card required. It is the complete experience on a smaller footprint, so you can judge the data quality before you ever pay.
What is in a lead?+
Business name and city, its vertical, how new it is, a score band, a plain-English why-now, and — in verified metros — a phone number to call. In enrich-yourself metros, a contactability flag tells you to append the phone/email. Paid plans add CSV export and unlock your whole metro, state, or the country.
Which areas are covered?+
Eight metros are live now. Four are verified with a callable phone on every lead: Seattle, Phoenix, New Orleans, and Fort Lauderdale. Four more are on the enrich-yourself tier (public records, you add contact): Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and Scottsdale. National coverage across all 50 states — with phone — switches on at launch via our licensed new-business feed on the Agency plan. Don't see your metro yet? Start with a live one or ask us about national.
Is it compliant to use?+
Every lead is built from public records and licensed business data. You own your outreach and are responsible for following TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and any do-not-call rules that apply to your calls and messages.
Can I export the list?+
Yes. CSV export is included on every paid plan. API access is on the roadmap for the Agency tier.
